Assalamu
Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah.
The pious can help, even after their death
When the Beloved Messenger of Allah, (May Allah bless him and grant him peace), went on the Mi'raj, fifty prayers a day were initially ordered. On return Prophet Musa, peace be upon him, requested the Messenger of Allah, (May Allah bless him and grant him peace), to return to Allah and ask for a reduction in prayers. He did so and by
doing this, the number of times was reduced to five prayers a day.
[Muslim and Bukhari chapter Miraj]
Ibn Taymiyya says that: In the time of a drought, a person cameto our Prophet's grave and complained about the drought. He then saw our Prophet, (May Allah bless him and grant him peace), who said go to 'Umar and tell him to perform the Salaah of Istisqah. There are numerous true narrations similar to this.
[Iqtisa Sirat al Mustaqim, page 373, Also Imam Bukhari has mentioned about this in his book,Tarikh al Kabir, biography of Malikal dar
• Ibn-e-Taymiyya writes that: Ibn Musayab's listening of the azan from the Prophet's grave or the returning of salaam from the graves of the Awliya, is haqq and we believe in it.

Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim quote the following hadis:
The Messenger of Allah, (May Allahbless him and grant him peace), was on his way to the battle of Khaybar with his companions and asked 'Amir, may Allah be pleased with Him, to recite a poem. 'Amir then recited the following:
"Oh Prophet of Allah!
Allah is our Witness.
Without you we would not have had guidance.
Nor would we pray nor give zakah.
You forgive us and we sacrifice ourselves for you.
Send blessings on us and make us stand firm when fighting the enemy"

Compiling the Qur'an AL-kareem
In a hadis, Hazrat Zaid Ibn Thabit Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu related, "The Beloved Prophet Sallallahu Ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam passed away and the Qur'an had not been compiled anywhere." Then Hazrat 'Umar Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu suggested to Hazrat Abu Bakr Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu to compile the Qur'an AL-Kareem in one book when a large number of Companions were killed in the battle of Yamama. Hazrat Abu Bakar wondered, "How could we do something that the Beloved Prophet Sallallahu Ta'ala 'alayhi wa Sallam did not do?" Hadrat 'Umar Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu said, "By Allah, it is good." Hazrat 'Umar Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu persisted in asking Hazrat Abu Bakr Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu until Allah I expanded his chest for it (Allah made him agree and accept these suggestions) and he sent for Zaid Ibn Thabit Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu and assigned him to compile the Qur'an AL-Kareem. Hazrat Zaid Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu said, "By Allah I, they had asked me to move a mountain, it would not have been more difficult than to compile the Qur'an." He also said, "How could you do something that the Beloved Prophet did not do?" Hazrat Abu Bakr Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu said, "It is good, and Hazrat 'Umar Radi Allahu Ta'ala anhu kept coming back to me until Allah expanded my chest for the matter." This Tradition is narrated in Sahih AL-Bukhari.
The one who rejoices the birthday of the Beloved Prophet would not be severely punished and it is hoped that a Muslim who celebrates the Milad un Nabi (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him), will not be punished in hell. Imam Bukhari Rahmatullah Alayh narrates that Abu Lahab would be punished lightly in the hell on Monday. Because he rejoiced and freed his handmaid indicating by his finger, when the Prophet of Allah Almighty (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) took birth. Soas a reward of happiness on Milad un Nabi (Allah's Grace and Peace be upon him) he would be given water by his finger. (Sahih al Bukhari Vol. 2, Page 764)
And We did not send you (O dear Prophet) except as a mercy for the entire world. [Surah Ambiya 21:107]
